Weston was hopeful of opening the high school baseball season last week on Thursday against the North Crawford Trojans, but that game was postponed due to inclement weather and will be played this week on Tuesday in Caz.

Coach Justin Kuhnau has announced team awards for Reedsburg Beaver Boys Basketball from this just completed season. River Valley Blackhawks girls basketball celebrated a successful season recently with the team’s awards banquet. Coach Joe Woodhouse guided the squad to a 16-10 record overall and a third-place finish in the SWC.
A few members of the Reedsburg Beaver Track and Field squad competed in a small indoor meet at Wisconsin Rapids on Friday. Reedsburg’s girls beat out Wisconsin Rapids and Port Edward for first place while the boys fell just short to Rapids for first place with just those three schools in action on Friday.
