Art fair recognized by River Valley School Board

The River Valley School Board highlighted the devotion and efforts of The Spring Green Arts and Crafts Fair Committee at the December school board meeting in the “Community Spotlight.” The spotlight award recognizes community members who have served above and beyond their role for having a positive impact on River Valley staff and students.  The Spring Green Arts and Crafts Fair Committee has donated faithfully to projects involving students for years.  Most recently, grants totaling over $5,000 have been donated to the high school musical team.  In past years, generous donations to staff for workshops, student travel, or equipment have been shared. The committee has devoted members who are gracious and  appreciated; they help to make the River Valley School District a better place. Pictured are, from left to right, Emily Beck. board member, Loren G. Glasbrenner, district administrator, and Michelle Orcutt and Diane Baryenbruch, fair committee co-presidents. Photo contributed.
