WCCU Credit Union has given $15,000 to food pantries across southwestern Wisconsin.

The donations were made to support pantries during a time of high demand.

Area residents have made the honors and dean’s lists at their respective colleges. Here is a listing of those students along with all related information provided by their schools.

To qualify, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits.

Reedsburg Police took a Milwaukee man into custody on Feb. 5 after reports of a male harassing a family.

Swim Reedsburg will host a Valentine’s Swim from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 13.

Families can check out the facility for an evening of free swimming. Food will be available for purchase. Bring a non-perishable food for admission, which will be donated to the local pantry.

It will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 27 at the CAL Center in Reedsburg.

Transit Authority has been playing live since 2004. Songs will range from “Call on Me” to “Saturday in the Park.”

The Sauk County Humane Society has unveiled its featured pets, with comments from shelter staff. They are as follows.

An author presentation and a craft swap are on RPL’s schedule for adults next week, while youth can explore their creativity during the Teen Time Creative Writing and Kids Club sessions.
