The Sauk County Humane Society has unveiled its featured pets, with comments from shelter staff. They are as follows.

RPL’s agenda next week includes a 250th U.S. anniversary program with RAHS Social Studies Instructor David Moon, a Mingle and Muse Special Event with a guest artist, and a Family Night event about what’s in the ground at the Hartje Center.

White Mound County Park will hold Music in the Park on July 14.

Wonder Lust, a pop-rock group, will entertain from 6 to 8 p.m.

Bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. Picnics are welcome.

Public Health Sauk County is welcoming nominations for the 2026 Public Health Excellence Awards, a recognition program for the community. These awards honor people and groups who help improve the health and well-being of Sauk County residents and visitors.

Reedsburg’s July 15 Concert in the Park will feature Best Practice Band.

The show will start at 6:30 p.m. in Reedsburg City Park.

Best Practice is a three-time Best of Madison Award winner.

Food will be sold on site.

Admission is free but donations are appreciated to support the series.

Reedsburg Mayor Dave Estes acted as the master of ceremonies at the Webb Park Cannon dedication on Saturday. This was a three-year project of the Reedsburg American Legion Post 350. Rep. Tony Kurtz, R-Wonewoc, was the guest speaker for the dedication. The Reedsburg American Legion Post 350 Honor and Color Guard performed as well.
