The Village Board of Prairie du Sac meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall.
The Village Board of Sauk City meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Village Hall. If there are five Tuesdays in month, it meets the fifth week.

Master Gardeners hold free pruning program

The Sauk County Master Gardeners Association will hold its next Reedsburg Community Garden Talk at 4 p.m. July 14 at Madison College, 300 Alexander Ave.

The event is free and open to the public.

The topic will be tomato pruning.

There will also be a children’s craft session, where little ones can paint rocks.

Reedsburg girl honored for heroism

A Reedsburg girl was recognized for helping another kid who was injured in a biking accident.

The Summer Outdoor Adventure Club honored Beckett Gasser for her response when one of her riding partners crashed and severely injured her leg.

The Sauk County Fair continues into this weekend, wrapping up on Sunday, July 12.

Here’s a roundup of highlights happening this week.

Admission is free for those who walk through the gate.

Almost all attractions are free, but fees do apply for rides and Grandstand shows.
