Sauk Prairie’s 2025 State Champion girls’ volleyball team was honored at a Milwaukee Brewers recently, featuring an on-field appearance and video highlights on the scoreboard. The team was on the field as part of pre-game ceremonies at the Friday, June 26 6:45 p.m. game against the Chicago Cubs at American Family Field. The ceremony was part of the Brewers’ State Champ Spotlight, which honors Wisconsin high school athletic excellence through the 2026 season.
The video recounted how the “top-seeded Sauk Prairie girls volleyball team capped off a 31-5 season by outlasting second-seeded Grafton in a thrilling five-set championship match to win the Division II state title.” The team included “three All-State honorees, three All-Tournament team honorees, along with the Wisconsin State Journal Player of the Year.” It was the team’s first title in four appearances.
