Sauk Prairie navigates rising public safety costs, $1.7 million sewer upgrade while weighing food trucks to boost downtown traffic

This spring, the villages of Prairie du Sac and Sauk City both wrestled with waste treatment issues, emergency services funding and food trucks — all common challenges across Wisconsin. Those three issues presented tasks for the twin villages operating both individually and collectively, as they have for decades.
