Stanek column: Beware of a different kind of stroke this summer

This past weekend, one of my older relatives was taken to Reedsburg Area Medical Center’s ER for a suspected stroke. He had slurred speech, appeared disoriented and was clearly very ill. It turns out it was stroke, but not the kind his wife suspected.
