Letter: The changing face of roadside ‘treasurers’

Changes in roadside garbage over time give us clues to societal trends. No one has a better opportunity to observe those changes than people who run or walk for exercise.

I was a runner for about 40 years, then had to give it up for health reasons and became a walker. Now in my seventies, I walk about three miles a day.
