PHOTOS: Wreaths across America 2023

On Saturday, December 16, a Wreaths across America ceremony was held at Greenwood Cemetery in Reedsburg. Representing different veterans groups were American Legion 350, Thurber-Greenwood VFW Post 1916 and Eagles Nest Marine Corp League Detachment 1293. Sue Wheeler Cowan, state vice regent of the Fay-Robinson Chapter, was the guest speaker. Placing veteran's wreaths in memory of those who served were: First Sergeant Joe Grey, for those who served in the Army; Wayne Unrath, for those who served in the Navy, Chuck Kagel, for those who served in the Marine Corp.; and Marsha Dederich, for those who served in the Air Force. Many other groups were represented, and volunteers were on hand to place the wreaths on veteran graves in Greenwood, St. John's, St. Peter's and Calvary cemeteries. (Submitted photos)
