CROSS PLAINS – Lorraine E. Westphal, of Cross Plains, joined her husband in heaven as she passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020. Born April 27, 1926, in Lone Rock to Cornelius and Mary Greenheck, she joined a family of siblings she loved dearly.
BLACK EARTH - Janice A. Brunner, age 92, of Black Earth, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on July 30, 1928, in Cross Plains, the daughter of Albert and Teresa (Nilles) Stoppleworth.
Kody Allen Phillips, age 28, currently of Plain, came into this world in a hurry at nine-and-a-half weeks early, along with his twin brother, Karson. He left the world the same way, too soon and too fast from a car accident on December 22, 2020. Kody was the epitome of a big brother, holding his four-minute head start over Karson’s head.
John Michael McLaughlin, age 73, of Prairie du Sac, WI. passed away at Agrace Hospice Care in Madison, WI. on New Year’s Eve, 2020. He was born in Paisley, Scotland on Feb. 16, 1947, the only child to the late Michael J. and Janet E. (McGhee) McLaughlin. John attended St. Catherine’s Elementary School and St.
Elizabeth “Betty” O. Richgels, age 100, passed away Dec. 31, 2020 at Heartland Country Village Nursing Home in Black Earth. She was born at home in Black Earth Township on Oct.
Caroline‘’Cerry” Anna Steuber, age 91, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Dec. 27, 2020. She was born in the Honey Creek Township on June 2, 1929 to the late Andrew and Anna (Klaetsch) Accola. Caroline graduated from the Prairie du Sac High School in 1949.
Denise R. “Dede” Wetley, age 60 years, of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at her home. She born on June 27, 1960 to Richard and Ilene (Novy) Melvin in Viroqua, Wisconsin. She grew up in Wonewoc and graduated from the Wonewoc-Center High School.
Darrell D. Hasse, age 62, of Wisconsin Dells, WI, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 of lung/brain cancer at his home. He was born on November 25, 1958 on his parents Otto and Margy (Rabuck) Hasse’s wedding anniversary. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Hillpoint.
