Jean A. Murphy, age 79, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at SSM St. Clare Hospice in Baraboo. She was born on February 21, 1942 in Seymour, WI, the daughter of August and Mable (Ziesemer) Henn. On July 1, 1961, Jean was united in marriage to John P. Murphy in Seymour, WI. This marriage was blessed with two children.
John “Jack” Voltz Jr., 85, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, August 22, 2021. John was born on the family farm located in the Mauston area to John and Mildred (Pray) Voltz. John left the farm at the age of 12 to work to earn money for the family.
John W. “Gump” Lietz, age 63, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at home in Richland Center. He was born on August 2, 1958, in Tuscola, Illinois, the son of Earl Robert and Clara Ruth (Moore) Lietz. He graduated from Reedsburg High School and moved to Alabama Gulf Shores in 2000.
Dorothea Peper passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Agrace Hospice, Fitchburg after a short illness.
Dorothea was born December 25, 1925 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin to Albert and Lydia Steinweg. She was baptized at home on December 26, 1925 by Rev. Hardt. She attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School and Reedsburg High School.
