Lawrence Mandle “Red” Fry, age 98, of Hillpoint, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg. He was born on September 27, 1923 in the Town of Bear Creek, Sauk County, the son of Harold and Ruth (Wolf) Fry. Lawrence was a proud veteran serving his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Judy Kay (Hutchens) White, 57 of Reedsburg, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. She was born on February 20, 1964 in Reedsburg, WI, to Frederick and Patricia (Hanson) Hutchens. From the time of birth, Judy was spunky, caring, kind and did things on her time. She had a soft spot for animals from a very young age and always had house pets.

Allen L. Machmueller, age 76, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. He was born on March 27, 1945 in Shawano, WI, the son of August J. and Viola E. (Paugel) Machmueller. Allen, also known by his nickname “Mucky,” loved growing up on the farm.

Irvin R. “Swap” Berberich, age 77, of Ironton, WI, passed away peacefully at his home in Ironton surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, January 9, 2022. He was born on March 20, 1944 in Westford Township, Richland County, WI, the son of Clarence H. and Arline M. (Anderson) Berberich.

Ethel A. “Evie” Schommer, age 99 of Reedsburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center with her family by her side. She was born on January 29, 1922, in Abbotsford, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frank and Magdelina (Elfert) Wiese. Evie was united in marriage to Wendalin F. Schommer on October 1, 1940.

Jill A. McPherson, 66, of LaValle and formerly of Clyman passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Patriot Place Assisted Living in Berlin.

Wava Lee Wandersee, age 60, passed away Monday, December 13, 2021 at her residence in Mauston. She was born on June 28, 1961 in Waukesha, WI, the daughter of Carl Gallert and Rosalee Barnard.
