Drivers have responsibility to keep workers safe

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) urges drivers to put safety first when you see flashing lights on the side of the road.

There are more than 132,000 crashes in Wisconsin every year. Law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS crews and tow truck drivers are often the first to respond to help.
