Bryce Reynolds of Jolly Beavers 4-H cleans up around one of the barns at the Sauk County Fair last week. The 12-year-old from Reedsburg said he showed a heifer and steer. He exhibited pigs last year but chose cows this year because he likes them more than hogs.

Ethan Craker of Weston FFA holds a hen in the Poultry/Small Animal Barn at the Sauk County Fair last week. He said he showed nearly 30 birds at this year’s event. He called the fair “a fun experience” and said, “You gain a better work ethic.”
