RAMC unveils new program to help patients pay bills

Reedsburg Area Medical Center patients who are struggling to pay their bills have a new option.

RAMC has partnered with iVita Financial to help patients apply for interest-free financing and flexible payment schedules.

This line of credit was developed to help ease the struggle and stress of dealing with medical obligations. Applications can be completed online with help from RAMC’s financial services team. Decisions can be made in minutes so patients can find out right away if they qualify. Applying for this line of credit also does not affect the applicant’s credit score.

RAMC Chief Financial Officer Barry Borchert said the service will be an asset to customers.

“Going beyond the expected is our mission at RAMC and we feel this product is fantastic,” he said in a statement. “Reassuring our patients that there is an avenue to pay their medical bills increases their road to wellness.”
