Scouts hold recruitment night
Cub Scout Pack 244 and Boy Scout Troop 44 will hold a gathering where people can find out more about the organization and enroll their children.
Recruitment will start at 5 p.m. Aug. 26 at Reedsburg City Park.
Groups are open to boys and girls in kindergarten through 12th grade. Scouts focus on developing character, leadership skills, values, citizenship, coping mechanisms and personal fitness. Outdoor activities are a big part of the organizations.
