Man drives without tire, gets arrested for OWI

A Gillett man was taken into custody last Thursday afternoon after police spotted him driving around town sans one tire.
According to the Reedsburg Police Department, Jehu L. Perez Garcia, 30, was traveling through Reedsburg at about 4:53 p.m. He initially failed to stop for officers but they eventually pulled him over in the area of East Main and King streets.
He was arrested for operating while intoxicated-first offense and obstructing an officer after he gave a false name. He also had a Sauk County warrant. In addition, he received citations for operating while suspended, not having registration, failure to stop for an emergency vehicle and possession of open intoxicants in a motor vehicle, according to the Reedsburg Police Department.
