Lots of locals achieve academic honors at UW-La Crosse

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has unveiled its Dean’s List for the spring semester.

Reedsburg students and their fields of study are Alex Baker, geographic information science; Adam Belk, undeclared; Rylee Dorow, physical education; Jacob Dregney, biology; Shain Dunse, early to middle childhood education; Hannah Erdman, public and community health education; Dylan Ganem, English writing and rhetoric; Allison Gesteland, early to middle childhood education; Jake Gesteland, musical theater; Benjamin Horzewski, exercise science-fitness track; Nick Horzewski, geographic information science; Abby Johnston, exercise science-pre-professional track; Shae Klicko, social studies education; Claire Koenecke, marketing; Joseph Koenecke, exercise science-fitness track; Grace Meyer, finance; Alyssa Nesseim, psychology; Anna Penkwitz, exercise science-pre-professional track; Abby Pynenberg, early to middle childhood education; Brianna Schyvinck, exercise science-pre-professional track; Alyssa Straka, psychology; and Kailey Thompson, biology.

La Valle students include Anna Buss, molecular genetics and cell biology; Kaleb Mueller, risk, insurance and financial planning; Nate Pillow, mathematics education; and MacKenzie Van Coulter, middle to early adolescent education.

In addition, Rachel Schmitt of Cazenovia also made the list. She is studying exercise science-pre-professional track.

To qualify for the list, students must complete at least 12 credits and earn a GPA of at least 3.5.
