VFW members sell poppies during Memorial Day weekend

Shoppers may notice veterans outside selling poppy décor this Memorial Day weekend.

Members of Thurber-Greenwood VFW Post 1916 will do a poppy drive May 29-31. They will be at Quillin’s, Viking, both Kwik Trips and the BP gas station in Reedsburg.

Proceeds will support local veterans with their necessities such as medical bills and travel to doctor’s appointments.
