Reedsburg man arrested after incident with hatchet

A Reedsburg man was taken into custody May 10 after a disturbance that had occurred earlier in the day.
According to the Reedsburg Police Department, Jacob R. Logterman, 23, was involved in a domestic incident with a vehicle just after 1:15 p.m. He also reportedly struck the vehicle’s dash with a hatchet. The driver, who was able to pull over, sustained injuries and received treatment at a medical facility.
Logterman was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct, domestic battery, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Sauk County Jail, according to the Reedsburg Police Department.
