Chamber schedules multiple ribbon-cutting ceremonies

Numerous businesses have opened or changed hands in recent months in Reedsburg, and the Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce is helping celebrate with ribbon cuttings.

The following are scheduled into early May.

--A ceremony for Lucy’s Main Street Mercantile will be held at 1 p.m. April 30. The store, 273 E. Main St., has changed owners. It is now headed up by Missy and Corey Frenz. The store’s grand opening is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 1.

--The Reedsburg Boys and Girls Club will have a grand opening ceremony to celebrate its completed projects from 4 to 6 p.m. May 4. A program and ribbon cutting will start at 4:30 p.m. Visitors will be able to take tours and see what’s been accomplished. Updates include the teen center, playground and donor wall.

--RE/MAX, 335 E. Main St., will hold a ribbon cutting at 4:45 p.m. May 5. The grand opening will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Guests will be able to see the new site and meet the staff.

--Nicole Bellock has opened a new State Farm Agency at 146 Eagle St. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. May 7, and the open house will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 8. The open house will feature live music by Julie B from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and food by Jose’s during the lunch hour.
