Marklein holds local listening session
Sen. Howard Marklein, R-Spring Green, is holding a handful of listening sessions, including one in La Valle, as well as a virtual option.
The closest one will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. March 5 at the La Valle Town Hall, 314 Highway 33. Marklein will be joined by Rep. Tony Kurtz, R-Wonewoc.
A virtual listening session will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. March 8 over Zoom. Email Sen.Marklein@legis.wi.gov to register. Include your residential address for verification. Only residents of the 17th Senate District will be allowed to participate. The deadline to register is March 6.
These sessions will give leaders an opportunity to hear what residents think about the state budget. They will not answer questions, debate ideas, challenge ideas or otherwise comment; they will just collect input.
Depending on the number of participants, there may be a time limit per person.
