Helping Hands postpones Easter program

A Reedsburg nonprofit has decided to postpone its spring/Easter program due to COVID-19.

Reedsburg Area Helping Hands normally gives out hygiene items and Easter-type candy to people in need during the holiday. These contributions have included toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, tissues, toilet paper and laundry detergent. Families normally receive the packages the week before Easter, but the program is being altered this year.

Items can still be donated, and monetary gifts are appreciated. Any money received will go toward buying these types of items. Send monetary donations to Reedsburg Area Helping Hands, 624 N. Willow St., Reedsburg, WI 53959. Checks should be made out to Reedsburg Area Helping Hands.

Collection boxes will not be placed this year. Instead, donations can be dropped off at 1411 Ridgeview Drive, Reedsburg.
