Denise has died again. My dear friend Denise died five years ago, or was it six? It seems like so long ago and just yesterday. In the spring before she died, Denise and I ordered a batch of chicks to share. We ordered many different breeds; I like Rhode Island Reds and Blue Andalusians and I wanted to add a Barred Rock to my little flock.
