Lee D. Van Landuyt's Jan. 14 letter contains many falsehoods that can't be addressed in a mere 400 words, but the opening paragraph calling the Electoral College "antiquated and fatally flawed" should have been followed by an explanation from the writer as to why it came to be that way.
