FREE SEED LIBRARY
April-August
Small packets of flowers and vegetable seeds will be available at the library. Take only what you will grow. Our free seed library will be out every year. New offerings will be available next year. Open April - August.
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
June 9 - August 15
Take part in our Summer Reading Program for children, teens, and adults, as we “Unearth a Story.” Record your reading with tracking sheets and enter to win cool prizes. 1,000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN
Can you read 1,000 books with your child before they start kindergarten? Children and parents can earn incentives and small prizes along the way. The real reward: kids who are excited and ready to learn. Parents whose children who have not yet started 5K can sign up by visiting the library.
BOOK SALE
The library book sale is open during regular library hours. Browse used books and movies for all ages at reasonable prices in the library’s reading area. New items are added weekly. All proceeds benefit the library via the Friends of the George Culver Community Library.

Trunk Bike Rack
Do you want to take your bike on a trip, but don’t own a bike rack? Consider checking out our trunk bike rack. Allen’s Deluxe Trunk Bike Rack holds 2 bikes and attaches to your car’s trunk, but it only fits on certain models. To see if your car is a match visit the library of things inventory on our website at saukcitylibrary.org/books-audio-and-movie/library-of-things/. Check out is two weeks. Patrons must be 18 or older to check out this thing.
LIBRARIAN’S CHOICE REQUEST
Have a librarian pick out books and movies selected specifically for you! Fill out the form on our website, saukcitylibrary.org, to let us know what you’re interested in. A librarian will select movies or books for you and call to arrange pick-up.
PUZZLE SWAP
Bring in your gently-used puzzles (in good condition, with all the pieces) and exchange for new ones. No puzzles to share? No worries - donations are not required to take part in the fun. Feel free to return puzzles when you are done, or keep them forever.
