BABY PROM
Saturday, April 11, 10:00am
We are hosting our second annual Baby Prom at the Ruth Culver Community Library! This year, we have an Under the Sea theme with dancing, balloons, bubbles, photo op, and more. This is an opportunity for caregivers to dress up their baby in their finest before they outgrow the outfit. For ages 0-3 (and their chaperones). TEEN TUESDAY: ICE CREAM BUFFET
Tuesday, April 14, 6:45pm
Build your own ice cream sundae, banana spilt or ice cream sandwich at the Ruth Culver Community Library! Then play Pictionary or other board and games while you eat. This event is especially for grades 6-12.
DROP-IN JUNK JOURNALING AND STICKER-PALOOZA
Wednesday, April 15, 2:30pm-3:30pm
We will have mini journals that you can decorate any way you want, inside and out! Junk journaling uses a variety of materials for crafting inside of a journal instead of just writing or drawing. We’ll have lots of different materials to use. Plus, we are pulling out our sticker collection! Join us when you can for a fun crafternoon after school. For grades K-5.
LIBRARY 2 LIBRARY WALK

Join the Friends of George and Ruth Culver Libraries in the first annual Library 2 Library Walk along the Great Sauk State Trail, starting in Prairie du Sac and ending in Sauk City. Everyone one is welcome! Suggested donation is $10 per group. Arrive at the Ruth Culver Community Library between 9:30am and 9:45am for walk kickoff at 10:00am. Join Miss Bethany for movement, music, and stories at traditional storytimes at the Ruth Culver Community Library! Storytimes recommended for children ages 2+ are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am
BOUNCING BABIES
Fridays, April 3 & 10, 8:30am
Bouncing Babies at the Ruth Culver Community Library is held Friday mornings at 8:30am, before the library officially opens. Join Miss Bethany for a storytime geared for ages 0-2 focusing on songs, fingerplays, and short books to grow their minds and motor skills. TINY TOTS
Fridays, April 3 & 10, 10:00am
Geared towards ages 2-3, Tiny Tots is held at the Ruth Culver Community Library Fridays at 10:00am and focuses on shorter books, puppets, songs, and movement activities with a playtime afterwards. This storytime is a good option for those who have outgrown our Bouncing Babies storytime but may not be quite ready for the longer books in our regular storytimes.
MINI BOOK SALE

Support the Friends of the Ruth Culver Community Library by shopping the mini book sale in the library lobby and entrance Monday, April 13 through Wednesday, April 22. All sales are by donation and will go towards the Friends’ support of the library.
CHANGES TO LIBRARY CATALOG COMING IN APRIL
A new version of LINKcat, the library’s online catalog, will become available for South Central Library System users on Friday, April 17. The transition to the new software will begin at 5pm on Sunday, April 12 and continue through Thursday, April 16. LINKcat and the LINKcat mobile app will be unavailable during that time. You will still be able to checkout materials at the library, but must have your library card with you. We will not be able to check in any returns during the transition. Additional information about the planned downtime April 12-16 and new features coming to LINKcat is available online at https://help.linkcat.info.
LIBRARY HOURS
The Ruth Culver Community Library is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 8:00pm, Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Lobby pick up and curbside service remain available to those who wish to use them. Call the library at 608-643-8318 with questions.
