Letter to the editor

Dear Neighbors,   I’m Michele Doolan and I’m running for Dane County Board in the April 7 election. I want to see a strong turnout on election day, but more than anything else, I want to understand how to best represent your needs in a county government that makes policy decisions that affect all of us. Like you, I have a vested interest in finding a balance between the resources available to urban and rural residents. Once elected, I will work hard to be a strong voice for you. District 28 covers a broad range of town, village, and rural interests. We who live here know that our needs are slightly different than those of the residents in the Capital, and we need to work together to define these needs. What do we want and what can we do to set a plan in motion to help accomplish our goals? For that to happen, I need your help. Let’s have an old-fashioned, face-to-face conversation so that we can get to know each other better so that I can honestly bring your ideas and our collective voices to every meeting Board and committee meeting.   Warmly, Michele Doolan Cross Plains   Doolan4daneco@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/doolan4daneco
