The Weston Archery Club is moving forward with a 3-D Archery Shoot.

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 29 in the school forest, which is behind the school, E2411 Highway S, Cazenovia.

Reedsburg Area High School coaches, administrators and the activities director are doing the best they can at this point to organize a fall sports calendar.

Still, COVID-19 is making it difficult to say anything with certainty.

The Reedsburg Pirates baseball team was victorious Sunday over Poynette.

The Pirates bested the Indians 7-6 in a close matchup.

Hayden Hahn was the winning pitcher, having gone five innings and accumulating three runs.

Alex Baker pitched four innings and had three runs.

Reedsburg Area High School has announced its continuing plans for a fall sports season amid COVID-19.

The following sporting events have been changed.

Girls golf

JV and varsity at Beaver Dam, Aug. 13, cancelled.

Boys soccer

JV at Oregon, Sept. 8, cancelled.

Girls volleyball

JV at Oregon, Sept. 8, cancelled.

Boys soccer

JV and varsity at Watertown, Aug. 25, cancelled.

Sports will start later at schools this year following a decision by the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) Board of Control.

Reedsburg Area High School is pursuing a fall sports season despite WIAA delays and cancellations in the Badger Conference.

The activities department announced that it plans to rebuild all fall sports.

If traditional Badger Conference opponents remain on the schedule, they will be considered non-conference contests.

The Reedsburg Pirates lost 10-3 against the Belleville Raiders Aug. 2.

Jake Wagner was Reedsburg’s final pitcher of the game. Lead hitters were Chris Jones with two runs and Alex Baker with two RBI doubles.

Last Friday night, Pirates team lost 16-6 against Sparta Miller.
