Practicing racism is fine but teaching the history of the racism you have been practicing is not. That's the hypocritical lesson from Wisconsin's Republican legislators.

This past weekend, one of my older relatives was taken to Reedsburg Area Medical Center’s ER for a suspected stroke. He had slurred speech, appeared disoriented and was clearly very ill. It turns out it was stroke, but not the kind his wife suspected.

Memorial Day weekend the citizens of Reedsburg showed their loyalty towards veterans as they donated $6,700 for poppies. “Thank You for your service” was the word of the weekend! What a great community we live in! The poppy fund is used to help local veterans in need, such as travel expenses and medical help.
I think of myself as an Independent; however for most of my adult life I often voted for Republicans. Well, no longer will I do that so long as many Republicans continue to be small-minded hypocrites who remain doggedly faithful to the former President and his pack of lies.
The big picture
When you look at a photograph, you are seeing about one 60th of a second in time. That is all. I think this alone is sufficient proof of the importance of the small moments that make up our lives.
