Spring Green

The Spring is bringing about a lot of change this year at the Spring Green Community Library! Starting on March 13, the Spring Green Community Library will be open for temporary, shortened hours on Fridays. Until April 24, we will be open from 10-2. This is due to an also temporary staff shortage. We thank you for your understanding and patience.
In April, the Library is getting a new internal system. This means a couple of things. First and foremost, we might need a bit more time to do basic things. This new system we are getting is very different to what we currently use. Staff are going through some training to help prepare, but that is not the same as using it with someone in front of you.
Second, from April 13th-16th, we will not be able to check-in material. We will also be closed on Tuesday, April 14th for staff training related to this move. We can still checkout materials to you, but they won’t show up on your account until the new system goes live, which is on April 17th. We also won’t be able to pull and prepare holds for pick-up either from our collection or via the red bins. In my head, this is like warning bells and sirens going off telling me to stock up. Please do that, if that will help you.
I do want to mention that all holds and lists that you have in your account will transfer into the new system. But if you would like any help preserving that information, please let me know.
Lastly and something I am pretty excited about, LINKcat will be different as well. The look and functionality should be better than what we are used to. And this is a huge step forward. I also think we might be getting a new Library app.
The library is open Monday through Thursdays 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

-Storytime will start again Tuesday, April 7 at 4:30 pm and run through May 12.
-The library will be closed April 3 and April 4 and reopen our regular hours Monday, April 6.
-Library will be closed Monday, April 13- April 15 for staff training and switching to a new library software package and reopen on Thursday, April 16.

Check out Spring break at the library. We will be hosting a Peep Diorama Contest on March 30 at 1pm. Calling all kids and teens! Build a peeps diorama inspired by your favorite book and show it off at Kraemer Library! Cast you votes 3/30-4/11 and winners walk away with prizes. Every participant gets a box and peeps provided—just drop in between 1-3 PM on March 30 to join the fun. On March 31 there will be a craft day for kids at 1pm involving decorating pots to take home. On April 1 the will be a family movie event at 1pm.

Lone Rock

Storytimes are normally held at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays, before regular library hours.
The library is open Tuesdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Wednesdays and Friday 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursdays from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
The library begins new hours on January 1st, 2026. It will be open Tuesdays, 11 to 5 p.m.; Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Thursday storytime 11:30 am., open 12 to 5 p.m.; Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
