BOOKS & BEYOND: TODDLER STORYTIME
Mondays at 10:00 a.m.
Toddlers and their caregivers are invited to join storytime for stories, songs, and activities. No registration required. For Ages 1-2. 20-25 minutes.

Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Preschoolers and their caregivers are invited to join storytime for stories, songs, and a craft. No registration required. For Ages 3-5. 25-30 minutes.
 
BINGO AT THE LIBRARY
The first and third Thursday of the month at 2:00 p.m.

CRAFT IN COMMUNITY

Bring in your current craft project to craft and chat in community! If you don’t have a project in progress, don’t fret—feel free to follow our DIY directions to create a snow globe with materials provided by the library. Hot chocolate will be provided. No registration required.

LIBRARY PEN PALS
January-March
Always wanted a pen pal?
Ms. Tori from our Library and Mr. Nathan from the Paw Paw Public Library in Michigan will match you to a library pal that you can write letters to! Pen Pals will write letters to each other from late January to late March. Children ages 6-12 are encouraged to participate!

BOOK BUDDIES
January-March
Check out a Book Buddy! Book Buddies are backpacks that include a book and a stuffed animal. Read the book to the stuffed animal or snuggle with it while a grown up reads to you! After you read the book, fill out the Book Buddies Report included in your backpack and the library will hang up your Book Buddies Report in the library for others to see! Return your Book Buddy with the book, stuffed animal, and report to the library when you’re all done!

The Culver’s of Sauk City is once again sponsoring a reading program. Children are invited to read and earn free Culver’s treats. Stop by the library for more information and to pick up your bookmark.
 
1,000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN
Can you read 1,000 books with your child before they start kindergarten? Children and parents can earn incentives and small prizes along the way. The real reward: kids who are excited and ready to learn. Parents whose children who have not yet started 5K can sign up by visiting the library.
 
BOOK SALE
The library book sale is open during regular library hours. Browse used books and movies for all ages at reasonable prices in the library’s reading area. New items are added weekly. All proceeds benefit the library via the Friends of the George Culver Community Library.

Crochet Set
Do you want to try crochet, but you’re not sure how to start? Check out our Crochet Set! The set comes with 12 different size crochet hooks, 3 easy patterns and a piece of practice yarn to work on your stitches. Check out is two weeks. Provide your own yarn to complete one of the included projects.
PUZZLE SWAP
Exchange your gently-used puzzles (in good condition, with all the pieces) for new ones. No puzzles to share? No worries - donations are not required! Feel free to keep puzzles or return them when you are done.

Have a librarian pick out books and movies selected specifically for you! Fill out the form on our website, saukcitylibrary.org, to let us know what you’re interested in. A librarian will select movies or books for you and call to arrange pick-up.
