We’ll have hot chocolate and a selection of toppings for you to enjoy while you eat some winter treats and play games at the Ruth Culver Community Library. This event is especially for grades 6-12. No registration necessary.
GLOW PAINTING FOR KIDS
Wednesday, January 14, 3:30pm-5:00pm
Drop by the Ruth Culver Community Library to make colorful works of art that glow! We’ll have glowing paint, brushes, canvases, and blacklights to help them “charge.” For grades K-5.

Join Miss Bethany for movement, music, and stories at traditional storytimes at the Ruth Culver Community Library! Storytimes recommended for children ages 2+ are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am
BOUNCING BABIES

Bouncing Babies at the Ruth Culver Community Library is held Friday mornings at 8:30am, before the library officially opens. Join Miss Bethany for a storytime geared for ages 0-2 focusing on songs, fingerplays, and short books to grow their minds and motor skills. NEW COLLECTION: YOTO CARDS
We are excited to announce we now have two Yoto Players and a variety of book cards available for checkout at the Ruth Culver Community Library! You can find them on the children’s area near the Tonie collection. Yoto Player is the ultimate screen-free audio player for kids age 3-12+. Built to inspire imagination and independence, Yoto offers a world of stories, music, learning and adventure in a safe, kid-friendly way. Simply pop in a Yoto card and let the fun begin—anytime, anywhere!
CULVER’S READING PROGRAM
The Culver’s Winter Reading Program has returned! Pick up your bookmark at the library, read 10 books, bring the bookmark back to be stamped, and then take it to the Sauk City Culver’s for a sweet treat and kid’s meal. Open to ages 18 and under. The program runs until May 2, 2026.
LIBRARY HOURS
The Ruth Culver Community Library is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 8:00pm, Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday, 9:00am to 4:00pm. Lobby pick up and curbside service remain available to those who wish to use them. Call the library at 608-643-8318 with questions.
