Couple welcomes first baby of year at Reedsburg Area Medical Center

Courtney and Zach Miller had an extra special New Year’s Day.

They welcomed Zoey Marie Miller at 6:18 a.m. Jan. 1. Zoey was the first baby of the new year born at Reedsburg Area Medical Center. According to RAMC, Zoey weighed eight pounds and was 20 inches long.

"She was such of an easy delivery,” said Courtney Miller.

The Miller’s other child, Carter, who’s 1 and a half, was also born at RAMC.

Mom and Dad spoke highly of their time at the hospital.

 "We could not be happier with the care we receive at RAMC Birth Center. Our experience is always great,” Courtney said.

Zach added, "We are so pleased with the nurses. We could not be more thankful!"

Each year, Reedsburg Area Medical Center celebrates the first baby with special gifts donated by local organizations. This year, items came from RAMC Massage Therapy, the hospital gift shop, RAMC employees, Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, WCCU and Lands’ End.
