Names released in fatal motorcycle crash

The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of those involved in a deadly collision on Aug. 21 in La Valle.

Dawn M. Ryczek, 61, of Reedsburg, died at the scene, according to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office. She was a passenger on a motorcycle operated by Dennis A. Ryczek, 61, also of Reedsburg.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the bike was struck by a Jeep operated by Holly N. McMillin, 38, of La Valle.

The crash closed Highway 33 east of Emerald Drive in the town of La Valle for about four hours.

Since the incident, people in Reedsburg have been organizing fundraisers for the Ryczeks, according to social media posts.
