A La Valle man was arrested Aug. 25 on suspicion of DUI.

Just after 7:40 a.m., a Sauk County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped Christopher Johnston, 40, near the intersection of West North and Trail streets in the village of La Valle. The deputy noticed the vehicle had expired registration, according to the Sheriff’s report.

During the stop, the deputy noticed signs of impairment and asked Johnston to do field sobriety tests. This resulted in an arrest for operating while intoxicated-fourth offense.
