Softball season starts with a scrimmage

The River Valley High School girls softball team began their spring season with a three team scrimmage on Saturday against Belmont and Horicon. Above, Delaney Milanowski catches a throw from Brooke Anderson in an attempt to throw a base runner out. “It was great to be able to have Saturday’s scrimmages to see what we did well and what things we still need to work on,” said River Valley head coach Jane Briehl. “Overall I thought we did some good things offensively.
