Alternate-side parking takes effect Dec. 1

Reedsburg motorists need to be prepared to move their vehicles.

Alternate-side parking in the city starts Dec. 1 and continues through April 1. Rules are enforced from 2 to 6 a.m.

On odd-numbered dates, drivers must park on the side of the street with odd-numbered addresses, vice versa on even-numbered dates.

Alternate-side parking is always in effect Dec. 1 through April 1, regardless of the weather. Those who don’t follow the rule risk receiving a ticket.

If there is a severe blizzard, the mayor may declare a snow emergency. Check local radio stations for updates.
