Reedsburg Special Olympians fare well in punt, pass, kick contest

Reedsburg Special Olympics athletes have been participating in punt, pass and kick practices this fall. Normally, they play flag football but plans changed this year due to COVID-19. Athletes’ scores in three skill areas are sent to Madison to choose the top players in the state.

Macie Beyer finished first in her division. Others who finished first in their division were Tyina Barton, Anna Froehlich and Skyler McGowan. Second-place finishers were Donielle Fendler, Travis Daniels, Jamie Wischmann and Shawn Neises. Third-place finishers were Breanna Hotek and Ryan Gates. Zach Dyar finished in seventh place, and appears in both photos because he also helped as an assistant.
