Reedsburg Utility donates to essential public services

The Reedsburg Utility Commission has dedicated itself to supporting public services due to coronavirus.
It has made Community Recharge funds available to support area relief efforts. It recently gave $4,000 to be distributed among the Reedsburg Fire Department, Reedsburg Police Department and Reedsburg Area Ambulance Service.
Utility General Manager Brett Schuppner said it’s critical to back these services at this time.
“The current public health emergency has increased the level of help people need from some of our community’s most vital support organizations,” he said in a statement.
Dollars were provided by member-owned, non-profit wholesale power supplier WPPI Energy.
“Now more than ever, Reedsburg Utility’s commitment to the people and businesses we serve goes beyond safe and reliable energy,” said Schuppner.
