Coronavirus testing to be offered at RACA Building

Sauk County Public Health will provide COVID-19 testing in Reedsburg.

It will be offered from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at the RACA Building at Nishan Park, 1411 Viking Drive.

Those being tested don’t need to have symptoms.

Registration is highly encouraged to avoid waiting too long in line. Visit register.covidconnect.wi.gov to sign up. When registering, you will receive a QR code that you will need to print out or save to your phone to show at the test site.

Vehicles may have more than one person for testing.

This is a drive-thru test so everyone must remain in the vehicle at all times.

Testing is done by nasal swab and will be sent to a state-approved lab.

This is not an antibody test and will thus not tell if you’ve already had COVID-19 and recovered.

The Wisconsin National Guard will be on site to help manage traffic.

Other testing sites are available throughout Sauk County. Visit www.co.sauk.wi.us/publichealth/coronavirus for details.
