RAHS 2022 graduate Melissa Dietz had a huge first season with the UW-Platteville softball program. Dietz, as a freshman, won the WIAC Position Player of the Year Award and the Conference Newcomer Award along with All-Conference first-team honors in the WIAC. Dietz was also selected to the All-Region team for the D-3 level. Dietz was 2nd in the WIAC in batting average at .469, in on-base percentage at .523 and slugging percentage at .857.
