George M. competed in his first judged swim meet, which was hosted by the Badger Aquatics Club Jan. 7-8 in Verona. George excelled in his first meet by placing in the top 16 for several events and received ribbons for achievement. The meet had more than 500 swimmers. George is a USA Swimming athlete and is looking forward to competing in many more meets. He is training at Swim Reedsburg and is coached by Bonnie Gross. The roof/arches have been removed from the former Rock Spring Community Center and it rests beside the building in this recent drone photo. It was then moved to its final resting place on the foundation pillars located near the Post Office. The 300,000-pound structure was lowered and slowly and meticulously moved over a period of several days. The Knights of Columbus-Reedsburg Council 3905 has allocated money raised from the latest Tootsie Roll Drive. The money is meant to help children with intellectual disabilities.
