Dana Westedt, owner of Main Street Books, gave a check to Jenny Tourdot, organizer of last December's Christmas Lights in City Park. The money was raised from the sale of bargain books at the bookstore. Main Street Books has an ongoing bargain book sale with donations supporting specific, local causes.
Jolene Westerman, treasurer of the Reedsburg Area Community Choir, also presented a check to Tourdot in support of her efforts. The RACC doesn't charge admission at their performances, but a freewill offering is collected. The RACC performances are always free with the goodwill donations targeted to benefit a local cause.
