Rain caused some delays for this year’s Freedom Fest, which was held July 4 at Nishan Park. Activities got started later than usual due to storms, and the bounce houses had to be cancelled due to weather. The fireworks were ultimately postponed until the 5th due to thunderstorms continuing into the evening. The weather also led to flood warnings across the region.
