Junior Jacey Maxwell from the Ithaca/Weston co-op softball program earned another honor last week even though the I/W 2026 schedule ended a few weeks ago. Maxwell was named to the All-District Three team for Divisions four and five as announced by the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association.
The Cazenovia Reds had a chance to go 2-0 this past week in Home Talent Baseball but the Reds fell in a pair of close games at Arena and Sauk-Prairie in league action.
River Valley High School’s Brooklyn Stokes (#5) was a member of the South Team in the D-3 WBCA Girls Basketball State All-Star Game last week at Just a Game Fieldhouse. Stokes was an All-Conference player in the SWC for the Valley girls this past season and was one of 24 players participating in last week’s D-3 All-Star contest.
The 2026 edition of Reedsburg Beaver softball came to a close recently with the team’s awards banquet. The Beavers won 5 of 23 games during the course of the season but did win a WIAA Tournament game over Wisconsin Dells.
The Reedsburg Beavers enjoyed a very successful 2026 season on the baseball diamond and the season was honored and recognized recently with the awards banquet.
Coach Jane Briehl has announced 2026 team awards for the River Valley Blackhawk softball season. Valley was 10-17 overall with a 2-8 mark in the SWC schedule.
First-year Head Coach Matt Bakkum has announced the 2026 team award winners for River Valley Blackhawk baseball. Valley was 9-12 overall, 4-6 in the SWC, and played some better baseball in the latter stages of the season.
The 2026 season of Weston Silver Eagle baseball came to an official close earlier this month with the end of season awards banquet. Weston posted an 8-10 overall record and finished in the middle of the pack in the Ridge and Valley Conference this season.
