Wisconsin Heights approves budget, taxes drop

The Wisconsin Heights School District approved the 2019-20 budget at the annual meeting on Oct. 28. Taxpayers will see the District portion of their tax bill drop from $11.16 per $100,000 of equalized value to $10.84, a 2.8 percent drop.

SP School Board discusses policy regarding staff advocating for or against referendum

Amy Brehm, principal at Merrimac Charter School started off the Sauk Prairie school board meeting by sharing highlights from the school. “Just to remind everyone we are a project based, multi-age, agriculture school so you will see those themes in action,” said Brehm.

A group of over 30 Sauk Prairie High School students braved the cold and blustery winds for several hours on Wednesday October 16th to help collect native prairie seeds from the restored Kindschi Prairie along Highway 12 north of Sauk City.

SP Middle School drama presents ‘The Reluctant Dragon’

Wisconsin Heights 2019 Homecoming Parade

The Wisconsin Heights Homecoming Parade marched through downtown Black Earth Friday, Oct. 4. Mazomanie and Black Earth fire engines carried football players, and Lodi/Heights swimming and the class of 2022 had their own floats, among others.
