The River Valley School Board highlighted the devotion and efforts of Nora Moe at their July board meeting in the July “Community Spotlight.” The award recognizes community members who have served above and beyond their role for having a positive impact on River Valley staff and students. Moe is a resident of Spring Green and has been the local crossing guard nearest the school campus for the past 11 years. Prior to that she was the elementary custodian for 13 years. “We are very thankful for Nora and her devotion to the community, staff, and student body. She is respected, appreciated, and helps to make the River Valley School District a better place. Her smiling face is one of the first things our students see as they come to the campus in the morning, and everyone appreciates her incredible positivity,” said district administrator/ superintendent Loren Glasbrenner.
