Merrimac students were whisked into space last Thursday as they held a Space Night featuring a planetarium, telescopes, and other fun activities. It was the first community-wide event the school has held since Covid.
Sacred Heart Catholic School in Reedsburg has released its first trimester honor roll.
Sixth graders, or those in Grades 6-8, qualify for the Principal’s List if they earn a 93 percent or higher in each subject area. These students include Matthew Benesh, Gavin Hess, Ella Mathews and Victoria Powell.
The Wisconsin Heights School District faced a “potential threat” of school violence and cancelled classes for all students Friday, January 24, 2025 “as a precautionary measure,” according to a communication from District Administrator Dr. Michelle McGrath that was issued at around 10 a.m.
First-grade students at Bridges Elementary School received a special lesson on how to use binoculars last on January 16th, thanks to a visit from Andy Haffemann, a parent of one of the students.
The December Above The Line theme was “Responsibility.” The students pictured at top left received awards on Thursday, December 19th from their classroom teacher or staff member who felt that they are an individual that is responsible. Congratulations to these students!
